With the slow down in the housing market, prices are way down from the 2004-2006 highs.  There are many bargains out there to be had.  My personal belief is that we are at the bottom (or very close to it) and the in the third quarter of 2008 we will have bottomed out in this market.  Recovery should start in the fourth quarter.  Please note one thing.  This decline was a direct result of the sub-prime mortgage lending situation.  It impacted everyone directly and indirectly.  If I am correct, and I believe I am (now analysts are starting to say the same thing), now would probably be the best time to shop for your next home!

COUNTRY CLUB INFORMATION (EVER DEVELOPING)

Boca West: Located in Boca Raton near the Florida Turnpike has prices beginning in the mid-100's and goes up from there.  Boca West is also an equity community that one must buy into.  As of October 1, 2006 the equity membership is $70,000.00.  Of that $70,000.00 approximately $30,000.00 is towards club membership of which 80% is refundable when you sell your property.  The remaining amount is fees and sales tax and is non-refundable.  Annual social dues are just over $10,000 per year.

Boca Pointe: Located in south Boca near the Broward County Line.  Boca Pointe is a non-mandatory country club.  This means, unlike Boca West, you don't have to purchase a membership if you don't want to.
